Usually held in late September, this is Darwen's major charity trial of the year. In memory of Mrs Isherwood, all profits are donated to Cancer Research charities in the local area.
The venue is located off the A646 between Holme Chapel and Cornholme.
From Todmorden - from Cornholme the road passes a layby/parking on the left, then a bridge controlled by traffic lights. On a stretch of double white lines beyond the bridge, there is a rusty metal gate to the left which leads down a track to the parking area.
From Burnley - follow the A646 through Walk Mill then Holme Chapel. Shortly after leaving Holme Chapel, there is a layby / parking to the left. Approximately 250 yards further there is a series of curves marked with double white lines. The entrance to the parking area is on the right hand side of one of these bends. Take great care crossing here as traffic can be quite fast.
Practising on this land is permitted with the owner's permission only.
